Learn to control light
The starting point for everyone. We understand how a camera works and why photos come out the way they do. We …
Training
Six learning lines. Like a metro map: take one workshop or follow a full line from start to finish.
At Llumàtics we organise training like a metro: six lines, each with its own route. You can jump on at any station — take a single workshop with no prior knowledge needed — or travel a full line from beginning to end to build real mastery of a process.
All workshops at Llumàtics are private, with a maximum of four students per session.
We also collaborate with Cameras & Films (formerly the Lomography Embassy Barcelona), where we run large format portrait workshops, black and white darkroom courses and experimental developing workshops.
Learning path
Follow the common trunk and choose where to go deeper. Each line is a learning area.
Camera, light and exposure. The foundation of everything.
Develop your first roll. Watch your image emerge.
Your first paper print. The darkroom awaits.
Dodging, burning and contrast filtration.
Full intensive: from roll to print.
From negative to digital file.
Lightroom for scanned analogue images.
Thematic lines — choose your specialisation
Develop with coffee and vitamin C.
Red wine as developer. Experimental.
Guinness stout. Unstable and fascinating.
Chemistry from scratch.
Build your own camera from scratch.
From your body of work to a real book.
Medium format 6×6. Square vision.
Choose your path
No workshop fits exactly what you need? Let's design your custom learning path together.
